" Butterfly lamb would have to be my December Meat of Choice and when the Cab Merlot Malbec arrived it was all I could think of...The first sniff, naturally in a big glass, was great. I could pick loads of red fruit characters from red cherries, raspberries to jammy black currents mingling with the subtle smokey oak....descriptors from around the table - smooth, rich, full bodied, blackcurrants, toasty oak, tobacco leaf ( they must have read my Malbec review!) and from a man of few words ‘hmmm it's bloody good.....’ "
